How are Dutch companies performing when it comes to innovation? What impact does AI have on their business performance? What do they expect from the government in terms of stimulating innovation? And how does geopolitical unrest influence their strategy and policies?

About the survey

To answer these kinds of questions, the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation at the University of Amsterdam conducts the Dutch Innovation Monitor (Nederlandse Innovatie Monitor) every year. In this large-scale survey, executives and board members respond to questions about innovation, the use of new technologies, AI, investments, and business performance.

Please note: the survey is in Dutch

As part of a study for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, special attention is given to the Dutch business and investment climate. These findings are published separately in a Business Climate Monitor (Monitor Ondernemingsklimaat).
This year, EB alumni are invited to take part in the research led by UvA Professor Henk Volberda of the Amsterdam Business School, section Strategy & International Business.

What's in it for you?

  • A tailored management report providing insights into your organisation’s innovative capacity and how it compares to the average in your sector.
  • A chance to win the Dutch Innovation Award 2026 (see the 2025 winner at the BID National Innovation Gala).
  • An opportunity to make your voice heard on current entrepreneurship topics.

Completing the survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You can participate until Sunday 28 June 2026, and all data will be treated confidentially.
