The Dutch Innovation Award is based on data collected by the Dutch Innovation Monitor. This is an annual large-scale study conducted by the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation (ACBI) at the University of Amsterdam. Under the leadership of Professor Henk Volberda, the jury selected Dutch companies that demonstrate exceptional innovation and societal value. This year introduced a new category: Water Innovation.

Winners 2025

  • Large Enterprise category: – Sensata Technologies Holland
A research-intensive division of a global industrial technology company, developing advanced sensor and high-voltage switching solutions for the automotive, industrial and aerospace sectors.
  • Small and medium-sized business (SME) category: Ecoplant Europe
Developer of a solar-powered energy system that tracks the sun throughout the day and involves young people and local communities in the energy transition.
  • Societal Impact Innovation category: Coolfinity
Creator of a cooling system that keeps medical supplies, such as vaccines and medicines, within a safe temperature range in areas with weak or unreliable power grids.
  • Water Innovation category : Dutch Clean Tech
