Global competitiveness research

The Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation is a partner institute of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and collects data for the Netherlands. This data is used as an input for the WEF’s annual Global Competitiveness Report.

Almost no increase in automation in spite of labour shortage in the job market

Compared to 2020, automation has increased by only 1% to 34% of all work activities. Expectations were that there would be much more automation by 2023. This was just 1 of the findings of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) 'The Future of Jobs Report 2023'.
