Managers' formal communications have been recognised and used as a source of data for management and organisation scholars to study strategic management and strategic organisation. Researchers collect textual and visual data from the organizations' formal reports, including their annual reports and earning calls. Numerous commercial databases provide digital versions of the documents. However, due to different technologies applied for the digitization of the documents and the general purpose of the databases, existing sources of data are not efficiently organized. This project aims to create an open, user-friendly, and well-structured database that is specialized in managers' formal communications, e.g., in annual reports, earning calls, press releases, on digital transformation.
